YBS2000 handheld laser methane telemeter is a detection device for remote measurement of methane gas. The device can control the emission of two laser beams, one green indicating laser and the other invisible laser with a specific wavelength. After these two lights are directed at the detection area, if they pass through the leaked methane air mass, the energy reflected by the laser with a specific wavelength will be weakened relative to the indicating laser, and the instrument can output the relative concentration (5 ppm m). It has the characteristics of long detection distance, fast response time, high detection accuracy and strong anti-interference ability. When the distance is far, the width of the detection spot can reach 50-80cm, which makes the detection more efficient.

Product characteristics

According to Bill-Lambert law, gas has absorption effect on laser with specific wavelength, and the absorption intensity is related to methane gas concentration (absorbance a = K L C). Because the wavelength of methane absorption line is concentrated around 1653nm, laser methane detection technology is to actively emit narrow-band laser spectrum to detect whether there is methane in the target area, which has little response to other gases.
