Valve internal leakage affects the efficiency of fluid transportation and production safety, and there are three major difficulties in detection: internal leakage ultrasonic wave only propagates in the pipe, small signals are easily covered by workshop noise, and signals under different pressure media are quite different, which is difficult for conventional equipment to deal with.

Specific application method of valve internal leakage detection
1. Preparation before testing: Start the machine to check the equipment status and confirm that the needle probe is connected normally; Clean the oil stain and corrosion on the outer wall of the valve and the upstream and downstream pipelines (it is recommended to clean the pipelines within 1m on both sides of the valve) to ensure good contact between the probe and the pipeline wall.
2. Probe installation and parameter setting: stick the needle probe on the outer wall of the pipeline 10-20cm upstream of the valve (the pipeline with thinner pipe diameter and thinner material is preferred to make the signal transmission clearer); Select the special mode of "Valve Internal Leakage Detection" on the equipment screen, and the system will switch to the valve internal leakage detection interface.
3. On-site detection operation: use probes to collect signals at multiple points on the outer wall of the upstream and downstream pipelines B and C of the valve, observe the sound pressure value and waveform displayed on the screen in real time, and record the data collection of each point.
4. Result determination and data retention: If B > A and C > A, the sound pressure value is significantly higher than the surrounding (for example, it exceeds the environmental background value by more than 18dB), and it can basically be determined that the valve has internal leakage. Of course, there are still some objective factors that interfere with the judgment results. In practical application, it is still necessary for the operator to have certain equipment use skills, so that the valve internal leakage can be detected and judged more accurately.
